    Over Tim Schepers

Tim Schepers holds a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy with a specialisation in Sports Physiotherapy. He further specialised with a postgraduate degree in Manual Therapy at KU Leuven.

Prior to his role as a Hip Coach, he gained six years of experience as a sports physiotherapist in a group practice, where he developed a keen interest in hip-related problems. The knowledge and practical experience he acquired now form the basis of his role at the European Hip Center.

In his coaching, Tim places great importance on close interdisciplinary collaboration with hip surgeons and care coordinators, with regular consultation being central to optimally supporting each patient throughout their entire journey. He also closely monitors the latest insights in rehabilitation after hip surgery and translates these into daily practice.

It is essential for him that patients are well-informed and actively involved in their recovery process. He sees clear education about the condition combined with targeted, individually tailored exercise therapy as the key to optimal recovery and a lasting improvement in quality of life.
